August Book Study
In her latest book, five-time #1 New York Times bestselling author Dr Brené Brown, writes, “If we want to find the way back to ourselves and each other, we need language and the grounded confidence to both tell our stories, and to be stewards of the stories that we hear. This is the framework for meaningful connection.”
Anaïs Nin said “We don’t see the world as it is, we see it as we are”. The most profound spiritual growth comes through being willing to encounter the self. This class has been created to take us on a journey into our emotions while developing a richer vocabulary of understanding how we feel and operate. It is through healing our own perceptions that we are able to more openly connect with others in our communities. Throughout the month of August we will engage in dialogue that is intended to transform how we think, feel and relate to ourselves, the world around us, and the Divine.
You’re invited to join Rev. Maggie Alderman and Rev. Kathy Beasley as we explore new language and deeper understanding of our emotions by way of facilitating healing in our lives and our relationships. Class is available in-person and online via Zoom.
