End of Year Giving — The Best is Yet to Come
What a year we have had at UCFL! It’s hard to imagine all that we have experienced and moved through as a spiritual community this year. We have had wonderful and impactful Sundays to honor the history and heritage that make up this community. We experienced “Gospel Sunday” during Black History month, our Easter service made it to the front page of the paper, we honored National Pride month and the Pulse anniversary, we had Prince Manvendra Singh Gohil and Duke DeAndre Richardson for a very special blessing service and the list goes on!! Together we raised the funds to replace our toilets, and we replaced the first (of many) A/C units. We added Rev. Kathy Beasley to our staff and we are hosting our very first UCFL intern, Pam Gutierrez! With your support we completed our rebranding from CCU Orlando to Unity of Central Florida and have a refaced sign that is hard to miss! We had a successful Summer Camp for over 20 kiddos, we had a strong presence at Come Out with Pride, and we ended the year with the Chance Family Fish Fry, Trunk or Treat, Thanksgiving Eve, and there is more yet to come!
We want to thank everyone who has contributed to the many successes of 2022. We do it FOR you and we couldn’t do it without YOU!
As the year comes to an end and our community looks ahead to all that we have in store for 2023, it is our prayer that you will join in the season of giving and consider Unity of Central Florida during your end-of-year giving. Your gifts, tithes, and love offerings will see that our Sunday services and mid-week programs continue to flourish, our gutters cleaned and restored, our playscape made safe for the kids to enjoy once again, the buildings painted, our grounds kept beautiful, and our technology modernized. Creating a safe and sacred space for people to experience their connection with God is what UCFL does well. We are a welcoming community that celebrates you, exactly as you are, and we welcome your support in keeping our mission alive as we move into a great New Year…the best is yet to come!
