We’re Coming Out…With Pride!

LET’S CONNECT WITH THE COMMUNITY

In support of our LGBTQ+ members and community, we will have a presence at Come Out with Pride Orlando on October 9, 2021!

This is a huge opportunity for us to connect with new people and let them know there is a spiritual center where they will be welcomed, loved, and supported.

WHAT WE’RE DOING: WEDDING CHAPEL!

We’re offering a sacred space at Come Out with Pride for anyone who is ready to honor themselves, their love, and their spiritual walk. Right there in the middle of the action, we are offering:

• Weddings (recognized by the State of Florida—Marriage License required)

• Commitment Ceremonies

• Vow Renewals

• Coming Out Ceremonies

We know you’re excited to join with us in reaching out to the beautiful souls who will cross our path on Saturday, October 9.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

We have many ways for you to join the Come Out with Pride Team!

• Share with friends and family! We believe this will be a fantastic—and fun—fundraiser. Please share CCU social media posts, forward emails, and tell everyone about this event!

• Make a Donation. We will have some costs as we make our Wedding Chapel fabulous! We’ve got a beautiful design going, so if you’d like to support making this a lovely space, helping cover our expenses is a great way to contribute!

• Volunteer. We have lots of ways to volunteer that will put you right in the heart of the action! We’ll need help with setup/decorating and teardown, plus folks to be in the booth alongside Rev. Maggie and Rev. Don. Visit the Volunteer table after service on Sundays, or email Nora Miles for more information.

• Book a Ceremony! If it’s time to make a commitment, renew your vows, or proclaim yourself or a loved one coming out, let’s celebrate together!
