COVID-19 Safety Update

Dear CCU Family,

We are all overjoyed to be moving toward the end of the global COVID-19 pandemic, and looking forward to the day when we can greet each other with hugs and laughter!

We’re watching the changing landscape of COVID-19 safety recommendations very closely. The Board of Trustees, staff, and a special re-opening team are working together to ensure that we embrace appropriate easing of restrictions while continuing to keep the safety and well-being of our community the highest priority.

Starting on Sunday, May 9, we will modify part of our sanctuary seating arrangements. You’ll find social distance seating choices so that you can choose your comfort level.

  • Right section (closest to parking lot) will remain designated for seating 6 feet apart.

  • Center sections and left section (closest to the Labyrinth) will be seated 3 Feet Apart.

  • Masks continue to be required.

  • Please follow the instructions of the ushers and safety personnel.

“The Good Old Days” will come again!

We are also actively looking at when and how we will be able to bring Kids & Teens back on campus, open up hospitality (snacks & coffee), support Prayer Chaplains, incorporate a larger number of singers and guest artists in the music program, bring volunteers back, and much more!

It’s an exciting time, and we will be sure to keep you updated as we move forward.

We are grateful for your loving cooperation so far, and are thankful in advance for your continued support in keeping our community safe!

You are loved and supported,

CCU Staff
